I especially like the use of the word complement as it describes "an addition that produces completeness or perfection in something" (from online thesaurus). You have used an untraditional blue for the orange for a perfect result.

I love the use of squares - they produce such a balanced image. You could call your quilt "on Balance" as both your colours and squares are well balanced. Or "Making the Point," kind of proving both the colour theory and the geometry of the the squares. Along this line you can call it "Practiced theory" or "The Proof is in the Pudding."

All in all, I like "With my complements" if it's going to be used by your guests and "The Proof is in the Pudding" because it so clearly shows a contemporary spin on the classic rules.

Cheers!Pippahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03226300756573764999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111251612193454477.post-26544744668259900162012-02-04T23:59:31.384-07:002012-02-04T23:59:31.384-07:00What about 'Sunset Blue'What about 'Sunset Blue'Gayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04390927174968135701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111251612193454477.post-5763536717911899822012-02-03T19:46:14.827-07:002012-02-03T19:46:14.827-07:00"Stepping Stones" is what comes to mind...."Stepping Stones" is what comes to mind.
